The video below has been made to help you better understand what to expect on your journey through our hospital.
As Tasmania’s only standalone, multidisciplinary day hospital, we are committed to providing safe and affordable same-day surgery, and an excellent experience for our patients and surgeons. We believe that the best place for patients to recover is in the comfort and familiarity of their own home, and prioritise making this transition as seamless as possible.
Our facility and staff are regularly audited for compliance and uphold the ACSQHC, NSQHS and ACORNSPS standards.
At Hobart Day Surgery, we are committed to providing patients with exceptional clinical care in Tasmania’s only standalone multidisciplinary day surgery. Our experienced nursing and administration staff ensure your stay is comfortable and personal, in a friendly and relaxed alternative to hospitalisation.
