This year marks a significant milestone for Nexus Hospitals as we proudly commemorate a decade of dedicated service in the healthcare industry. From humble beginnings with just one hospital, we have grown to 27 facilities, solidifying our position as one of Australia’s leading groups of day-only and short stay hospitals.
Through it all, our unwavering focus on our most valuable resource, our people, has remained steadfast. It is the dedication and commitment of our hospital teams that has built a national reputation for world-class care in your local Nexus Hospital.
Our team has grown to more than 1600 employees, and we have proudly welcomed 157 000 patients through our facilities, this year alone. Our culture of care forms the bedrock of our operations, so we can continually strengthen connections and offer transformative care to our patients.
At Nexus, we know the impact efficient healthcare models can have on the broader Australian healthcare system. Through innovative approaches, we are committed to enhancing patient experiences and accelerating recovery, so patients can safely return to their homes and get on with life faster.
As many may know, Nexus is also deeply committed to sustainability and environmental responsibility. An initiative led by our Green Team, we’re proud to share our ambitious goals for zero emissions, rigorous recycling practices, and innovative strategies to reduce consumable waste.
We acknowledge there is still work to be done in improving the sustainability of Australia’s private healthcare model.
