Acknowledging Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people is an important aspect of ending exclusion.
Windsor Private Hospital sits on the land of the Kulin Nations.
We acknowledge that the people of the Kulin Nations are the Traditional Custodians of this land and have strived to retain their identity and cultures through more than two hundred years of dispossession and colonisation.
Awareness of the importance of different cultures and acceptance of this diversity as a part of modern Australia is central to the Windsor Private Hospital culture. This increased acceptance across all aspects of our society is a critical aspect in helping to create a more united Australia.

Kulin Nations
Most of the city of Stonnington belonged to the Yalukit-willam, one of six Boonwurrung language clans. A small proportion of the municipality belonged to one of the Woiwurrung language clans, the Wurundjeri-balug.
The northern boundary of Stonnington, the Yarra river and Gardiners Creek, approximates the boundary between Boonwurrung and the Woiwurrung people. Collectively these clans were known as the East Kulin nation.
