Credentialing
If you’re interested in operating at Windsor Private Hospital, please contact our General Manager/Director of Nursing on 03 9520 9520, or email at don@windsorprivate.com.au. We would be delighted to provide you with a tour of our hospital and discuss potential session times. We’ll then send you an Application for Accreditation form, which you’ll need to return alongside the following credentials:
- Indemnity insurance Certificate
- AHPRA Registration
- CV (with three references)
- Evidence of 100 points of ID
- National Police Check
- Working with Children Check
- Signed copy of Medical Bylaws
- Signed copy of Code of Conduct
- Signed copy of Privacy Statement.
Our General Manager/Director of Nursing will check your references and present all documents to a Windsor Private Hospital Medical Advisory Committee representative. You will be provided with Interim Privileges while your credentials are reviewed.
Following approval at the next Medical Advisory Committee meeting, full privileges can be granted for a three-year period. At the end of this period, you will be asked to review your application and make any changes if necessary.
Hospital by-laws
Windsor Private Hospital operates under by-laws approved by the Nexus Hospitals Board. These by-laws empower medical staff to give assurance of quality hospital medical care.
The by-laws outline the management policies approved by the Board and document:
- the Terms of Reference for the Windsor Private Hospital Medical Advisory Committee
- the process of accrediting practitioners at Windsor Private Hospital and defining their scope of practice
- the obligations of accredited practitioners in relation to the safety and quality of care patients receive, including patient privacy, open disclosure, infection control and reporting, and medical research
- the expected conduct of accredited practitioners at Windsor Private Hospital
- the clinical governance framework in place to evaluate, monitor and improve the quality and safety of healthcare services provided

So we will work with your practice manager to ensure our processes can be integrated into their workflows, and encourage your staff to visit our hospital to see and experience your patient journey first hand.
We will also work with you to configure aspects of our operating theatres to suit your procedures and preferences.

Your Contribution
Nurses form a critical part of our team. We are seeking an experienced Scrub Nurse to work collaboratively with our dynamic team, to ensure the effective operation of the hospital, and the outcome of an exceptional patient experience. We pride ourselves on being true Patient Experience Champions.

About You

- Demonstrated passion for patients and nursing
- Registration with AHPRA
- Proven experience as a Scrub Nurse

- Flexibility across all rostered theatre sessions
