Revolutionary therapy for Fuch’s endothelial dystrophy
Dr Greg Moloney’s ground breaking treatment for Fuch’s endothelial dystrophy was featured on the 730 Report this week. Fuch’s affects 1 in every 25 Australians over the age of 40, and until recently, treatment options have been limited. Dr Moloney, who operates with us at Bondi Junction Private Hospital and Crows Nest Day Hospital, has been a world leader in developing a treatment for Fuch’s, known as DWEK – Descemetorhexis without endothelial keratoplasty – which is poised to radically change long-term outcomes for those affected by the condition. Please click here to see the 730 Report segment from Thursday 15th August – our story commences at 15:06.
