Elena is responsible for driving strategic and innovative engagement with PHIs, oversight of health fund contract management, and optimising revenue across Nexus Hospitals.
With her corporate finance and private equity background, Elena was part of the investment team supporting the founders of Nexus Hospitals with the establishment of Nexus in 2013.
From the early days, Elena has been deeply connected to the vision, purpose, and values of Nexus, a connection that has kept her with the organisation ever since.
Over the years, she has taken on numerous responsibilities as Nexus grew and evolved. These included contributing to business strategy and structure, managing doctor equity and financial modelling, conducting valuations, completing initial acquisitions, and handling various commercial roles such as supplier and PHI negotiations. Most recently, Elena has focused her expertise on building and strengthening PHI partnerships.
When not working, Elena is a dedicated mother to three young children. To stay fit and focused in this ever-changing, fast-paced world, Elena enjoys running outdoors and swimming.
Elena also has a passion for psychology, which she has been studying through the non-profit Neufeld Institute.
